Great Britain will ban sales of gasoline and diesel cars in 2030

This week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson will send to Parliament a draft of new environmental standards for vehicles that can be operated in the UK.

The purpose of the innovations is to improve the environmental situation in the country and by 2030 to completely prohibit the sale of cars with internal combustion engines in the United Kingdom.

As noted by experts of the Financial Times, currently the share of electric cars in the British fleet reaches 7 percent, and models with hybrid drive – 25 percent.

Thus, the British authorities are already trying to encourage motorists to buy fully electric cars. In turn, next year the government will allocate almost 660 million dollars to develop a network of stationary charging stations.
